As lead UI/UX designer, researcher, and project manager for the social media app PikFlick, I drove an end-to-end user-centered design process. Conducting competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, user surveys, usability studies, and SUS testing, I gathered key insights that informed the UX strategy. I explored concepts through wireframes then designed flows for video reels, auto-captioning, mini-games, feed, profiles, commenting, on-boarding, and photo editing in Adobe XD. Using Zeplin, I handed off polished visual assets and UX specifications to developers.
As project lead, I facilitated cross-functional collaboration and post-launch QA testing. The result was an engaging, multi-dimensional app exceeding goals around conversions, retention and revenue. My user-focused approach and strategic leadership were instrumental in crafting an intuitive product experience true to the brand vision. Post-launch, I optimized the UX through A/B testing and analytics.
